Since 2017, I’ve been immersed in the world of data — with a front-row seat to how the industry has evolved across companies like Vimeo, Oscar Health, Deloitte, and Justworks.
At Vimeo, I became Data Director of Core Analytics in just three years, working shoulder-to-shoulder with product leaders, engineers, and executives to turn messy data into decisions that actually moved the business..
As a hiring manager, I saw exactly why some people thrive in data while others get stuck — and it’s rarely just about technical skill. Today, my mission is to train the next wave of standout data professionals who can think strategically, communicate confidently, and make data matter to real people in an AI-driven world.
Meet your mentor,
Christine
Celebrating student successes
Since the first cohort, I've helped countless students around the world transition into their first data job - and am constantly inspired seeing the transformation in their confidence and ability to think and contribute like standout analysts.
Present
Launching the Analytics Accelerator
After a large wave of layoffs in the US, I started hosting free online workshops to help others transition into data. Inspired by the people I met in these workshops, I launched the first cohort in June 2023. Students from London joined class at 2am each week!
2023
Traveling for creative projects
During this time, I also traveled the world for photography projects, visiting Mexico, Switzerland, Italy, and Paris, exploring life through the lens of an analyst and an artist, while working full time as Director of Core Analytics at Vimeo.
2022
Becoming a director in data
After a few years at Vimeo, I became a director and led projects on exec reporting, dashboarding, pipelining, data modeling, and data infrastructure, expanding my love for the creative capabilities of data.
2022
Teaching analytics from Europe
During the pandemic, I lived in Lisbon for a few months, taught online classes at General Assembly, and saw first-hand how skill-based education is one of the most direct ways to increase diversity in technical roles.
2020
Starting my data career
I got my first role in data at Justworks, where I was exposed to the ability to use technical skills to help solve day-to-day business problems and learned to use SQL, Excel, Tableau, and GitHub as an interconnected toolkit.
2017
Tuition is shared after the application process so that we can first understand whether the program is the right fit for you. As a benchmark, the program is much more financially accessible than data analytics bootcamps, while teaching you long-term job hunt strategy, business thinking, and soft skills not covered in any other program.
After you apply, you'll hear back in the next few weeks. If the program seems like a fit for you, we'll share more about the program structure, tuition, and results. If the program isn't the right fit for you, you'll receive feedback on what to focus on for a future cohort. Applications are on a rolling basis and enrollments fill quickly - the sooner you apply, the better!
Ideal candidates typically have a few years of professional experience, with domain knowledge in a data-adjacent field such as finance, marketing, tech, healthcare, sales, operations, business development, or research. We also welcome highly motivated recent graduates from bachelor’s or advanced degree programs.
You’re likely a good fit if you’re already comfortable with analytics fundamentals. For example, using Excel to analyze data and write basic SQL queries—and have some exposure to a visualization tool like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. You don’t need to be an expert; a working familiarity is enough.
Beyond technical skills, we look for applicants who are curious, motivated, and thoughtful communicators, and who are excited to learn alongside and contribute to a collaborative, supportive community.
You’ll learn SQL, Excel, GitHub, and Tableau. We do not teach Python as it is not a core requirement of many early-career data analyst positions, and the goal of this program is to equip you with the most efficient roadmap for becoming a data analyst today.
After the 4-month cohort, you can enroll in our Continuity Cohort, which includes access to weekly office hours so that you have mentorship throughout your job hunt and until you land an offer. The class recordings, community Slack space, and class materials are all available to students indefinitely.
The program is designed to fit into a busy schedule. To get meaningful results, we recommend setting aside at least 4 hours per week to engage with the material, practice, and apply what you’re learning.
Office hours are held Tuesday evenings EST and Thursday afternoons EST. Classes are recorded for you to watch on your own time and if you need to miss a session, questions can be addressed in Slack and in recordings, with summaries so you can catch up quickly.
This program prepares you for jobs with the title of Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Reporting Analyst, and Insights Analyst. The skills taught are also related to roles titled Finance Analyst, Operations Analyst, Product Analyst, and Business Analyst.
If you’re accepted into the program, you’ll be able to enroll risk-free. After completing the diagnostic, if you decide the program isn’t the right fit for you, you’ll receive a full refund (in line with our refund policy). My goal is for this to feel like a low-risk, high-clarity decision. If you show up, engage with the work, and apply what you’re learning, you should expect to see real progress.
